Sanibel Island

Day Four had to be everyone's favorite day. It was a day full of fun, excitement, and celebrations.

That morning, we all went on a dolphin boat ride.

Now, if you have never had the extreme pleasure of experiencing such joy, you simply cannot understand the amazement, beauty, and exileration that comes from watching dolphins. But we were just watching them from afar, they were literally right behind out boat, swimming and jumping and playing in the wake. It was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.

Loading up and ready to go!

Dolphin watching - we know they are out there, but where could they be?

There they are! Let's go!

I have to tell you, as well, that I took these photos without my camera being zoomed in at all, and I have not cropped them either. This is just how close they were to us.

Truly remarkable! They played with us for a while, dropped back, and then, a little while later, we looked back, and there they were again. Guess they thought we were a good crowd! Well worth the 10,000 pennies it cost!

After all that fun and excitement, we made our way over to the beach on Sanibel Island for another afternoon of relaxing and shell collecting. The water was so calm this day, and the kids could actually swim. Another fabulous beach!

Storm clouds started to move in and threaten our fun, so we packed up and headed home.

Nice photos. It looks like your family had fun at the beach. We have been seeing a lot of those dark clouds, like in your last pic, over the past few days. :-)
