Friendly Visitors

We were blessed to have the Denton family come visit over the Thanksgiving break. Grant and Amy, and their two daughters Lauren and Holly came and spent Sunday with us. They are great friends from Memphis, and like most of our friends from Memphis, have since left and moved on. They now live in Mt. Juliet, TN, near Nashville. So we were delighted that they would come and visit. It was so good to see them and catch up on each other's lives. I can't believe Lauren and Holly are growing up so fast. Lauren is 15 now and Holly is 13. It seems like just yesterday they were these little girls, no older than my kids are now. Time passes so quickly. They got to experience a day in the life of Langley living. I am sure when they left, they were grateful to only have two girls, and no giant dog. We tried to pawn Colin off on them, but of course, they wanted Philip. I wasn't willing to give him up yet. Maybe in a few years! Of course Philip loved the extra attention the girls gave him. What three year old wouldn't! So, thanks, guys for a great day. It was so good to see you, and we are so thankful that you stopped by! Can't wait to see you again!
