Madilyn's Choir Concert

Madilyn's school held a Christmas concert on Sunday. Every child is invited to attend. Madilyn performed with the 4th and 5th graders. They have it at the Performing Arts Centre, and they did a great job. Madilyn is in the school Choir as well, and they performed additional musical numbers.

My favorite part was when the children played Silent Night on their recorders. It sounded really good. I was very impressed at how well they haved learned how to play those tiny little instruments.

The pictures aren't the best, but you get the gist. Madilyn was one of the two turtle doves in the 12 Days of Christmas. She was always on cue!

Since she is one of the smallest kids in the 4th grade, there was no doubt that she would be on the front row. Compared to some of the 5th graders, Madilyn looks like a 1st grader! The choir is performing again this Saturday at the school's Christmas festival, so I will hopefully get some better pictures of them.

Keeping the boys entertained while we waited for the concert to begin - not an easy thing to do!
